What materials do you use?

We work with high-quality, responsibly sourced materials including solid 14k and 18k gold, sterling silver, platinum, ethically sourced diamonds, and premium alternative gemstones. Material details are always listed on each product page for full transparency.


Are your pieces solid gold or gold-plated?

Many of our pieces are made in solid gold, not plated. If a piece is gold-plated or vermeil, it will be clearly stated in the product description. We prioritize durability, longevity, and heirloom-level quality.


Do you offer custom or made-to-order jewelry?

Yes. We specialize in custom and made-to-order pieces, including engagement rings and personalized designs. Custom orders are handcrafted specifically for you and allow for stone, metal, and design customization.


How long does it take to receive my order?

Semi-custom pieces (such as a solitaire pendant) typically ship within 3–7 business days. Made-to-order and custom pieces generally deliver in 3–6 weeks, depending on the design. Please contact us if you need your order expedited to meet a deadline.


Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we offer domestic and international shipping. Shipping rates and delivery times are calculated at checkout. Please note that international customers are responsible for any customs duties or taxes required by their country.


Can I return or exchange my jewelry?

We accept returns or exchanges on eligible, unworn items within the specified return window listed in our return policy. Custom, engraved, and made-to-order pieces are final sale, as they are created specifically for you. If you would like to return a final sale item, we can list it for sale to help you resell it.


Do you offer ring resizing?

Yes, we offer resizing on select rings. If you’re unsure of your size, we recommend reaching out before placing your order so we can help ensure the best fit from the start. Some designs- such as full eternity rings- cannot be resized.


Do you offer financing or payment plans?

Yes. We offer flexible payment options at checkout, allowing you to enjoy your jewelry now while paying over time. Available options will be displayed during checkout. A few options include Affirm, Afterpay, and Acima.


Is your jewelry covered by a warranty?

We stand behind our craftsmanship. Our jewelry includes a warranty covering manufacturing defects. To protect against loss, damage, and theft, submit your appraisal to an insurance company such as Brite Co. or Jewelers Mutual to insure it.


How should I care for my jewelry?

To maintain the beauty of your jewelry:

  • Remove pieces before swimming, showering, or exercising

  • Avoid direct contact with lotions, perfumes, and chemicals

  • Store jewelry separately in a soft pouch or box

  • Clean gently with a soft cloth or professional jewelry cleaner

  • Inspect it at a repair shop every 6-12 months to tighten prongs and deep clean it to keep its sparkle

Can I engrave or personalize my piece?

Yes. Select pieces are available for engraving or personalization. 


Are your diamonds and gemstones ethically sourced?

Yes. We prioritize ethical sourcing and work with trusted suppliers to ensure our diamonds and gemstones meet responsible sourcing standards.


How do I know my jewelry is authentic?

All Balacía engagement rings use certified diamonds. The diamond inscription can be checked by a loupe.
